A much improved touchpad firmware for the #pinebookpro is now available for flashing! Presently, the process requires some degree of Linux knowledge, but even a novice should be able to follow the instructions. If you're not comfortable with executing the process, community developer dsimic is working on a use-friendly and (more) automated utility for flashing the firmware.

Follow link for instructions: forum.pine64.org/showthread.ph

Experiments with and a e-ink display, running on , of course !
The picture is cropped because the display is 128x250, while the UI expects 240x240, but it looks good nevertheless!

Revision 2 of the PinePhone keyboard, this one is actually nice to type on :D

I've just relesed 1.3.0 : PineTimeStyle, LittleFS integration, battery info in Gadgetbridge, and many more improvements for your @PINE64 !

Release note : github.com/JF002/InfiniTime/re

I wrote a simple Python script that automatically flashes the board when it boots in bootloader mode.
It makes updating and debugging the firmware easier! 🥳

Getting ready for @PINE64 Stack : I created a lightweight "HelloWorld" project based on CMake and the new "MCU SDK" from Bouffalo (github.com/bouffalolab/bl_mcu_) that runs on the BL602. It should easily run on the BL604 or 702 with minor modifications.

Here's a very stripped down version of ( firmware for @PINE64 ) running on the MCU!

The touch gestures are simulated by a APDS9960 motion sensor.

This is just a PoC but hey! It works!

@JF Yeah the #pinetime community is exceptionally friendly, peaceful and open minded <3. I really like that. I am also planning to contribute some code in the future. I've already got a devkit but sadly no time yet. I am really looking forward to a closer interaction with the #InfiniTime / #pinetime community in the future :D. But until then I just keep opening issues for ideas I got or bugs I found :). Have a great time ^^

I already stated that but I really really love the #pinetime and its "stock" firmware #InfiniTime . I really hope that the devlopers especially @JF can keep up their motivation for this project.
And to help at least @JF to keep up his motivation I am now donating 3€ a month to him :).

Please consider to do that too if you also love the infinitime/pinetime project as I do :D

now @JF has me thinking about a CP/M implementation and maybe a #retroforth implementation for the @PINE64 #pinetime lol

These last few weeks, I analyzed the memory (RAM & FLASH) usage of , the firmware running on the @PINE64 .

I spent so much time doing that I want to share the result with everyone :)
