Release 0.4.0 brings BLE notifications, nice icons, brightness and sysinfo apps and bugfixes!
Here is the changelog : https://github.com/JF002/Pinetime/releases/tag/0.4.0
Any contribution to improve the UI is more than welcome. Next step : OTA!
We updated the post on the forum to contain the new information.
Remember: You need to do this again with the new filenames, even if you did it before with version 4.16.3.
The working version is 4.16.5.
Again, very sorry for the inconvenience!
I've just pushed the code :
- Pinetime firwmare (branch 'ble-notifications') : https://github.com/JF002/Pinetime/tree/ble-notifications
- My quick'n'dirty fork of Gobbledegook (branch 'pinetime') : https://github.com/JF002/gobbledegook
The author of Gobbledegook is looking for a new maintainer. Anyone interested?
I think the most usable distro (at least for my needs) on the #pinephone is debian but instead of phosh, with regular gnome and scaling set to 1 instead of 2.
If only the power button would turn the screen back on...
Bonjour, #jeChercheUnJob à Bruxelles en développement web.
Surtout back.
We're happy to announce that the #PinebookPro is back in stock at our webstore! This batch will come with @ManjaroARM @kde Edition preinstalled -- this brings the mainline Linux kernel to the Pinebook Pro as default. Expected delivery worldwide in May.
If the website fails to load, please don't F5 our server out of existence! Wait a bit and try again -- this is a large batch, there will be units available for quite some time
Didn't post yesterday beccause I wanted time with the laptop for myself before I sharing it with everyone! 😅
It's super neat and will really be helpfull for various work. And Pine64 does not do enough of a job showing off how thin and slick this laptop is! (Me neither though)
Last screenshot is my current setup on it, while the second last picture is a screenshot right after booting it!
Developpment: C, C++, embedded, Python
Platforms: Linux, Rpi, ESP8266, STM32, NRF52
Listen to music, play the drums, work in my new house, brewing my own beer
